This site was created by friends of drummer, producer, and sound engineer Chad Lovell as a portal for information regarding live fundraising events supporting Chad’s recovery, following a fall in his home on November 18, 2019.
As a musician, Chad is best known for the decade he spent performing live as one of the drummers for Course Of Empire.
As a sound engineer, Chad is known and loved for his twenty years of service, helping other artists to sound their best at The Curtain Club in Dallas.
As a concept, we want “Love For Lovell” to symbolize the spirit of mutual support which has always been at the center of the culture in Deep Ellum.
“Love For Lovell” will also represent an ongoing series of live events aimed at raising funds to support Chad’s family while he undergoes what will be a long recovery process.
